Gillian Roberts

Gillian Roberts


Gillian has worked in the West Midlands, Wales and the National Archives of Scotland. She brings experience in developing archives standards, community engagement and research from a national and regional perspective. Gillian has worked on a number of externally funded projects for WAAS including Worcestershire World War 100.

John France

John France

Senior Archival Photographer

John has worked in a number of photographic environments including commercial studios and the educational sector. He has been a keen photographer for over 20 years. He successfully introduced digital photographic technology and practices to the Service and now manages the microfilming and digitisation team.

Jonathan Brusby

Jonathan Brusby

Assistant Archival Photographer

Jonathan joined the team after several years working in web design, creating and maintaining websites for small businesses and is a keen amateur photographer. He produces filmic and digital surrogates from a wide range of archival media. Jonathan has 12 years’ experience of producing high quality output to archival standards while ensuring the security and safety of the original material.

Rhonda Niven

Rhonda Niven


Rhonda is responsible for the preservation and conservation of a wide range of mainly paper-based material. She graduated from West Dean College, Chichester, with a Graduate Diploma in Conservation/Restoration of Books and Library Materials. Prior to joining the team Rhonda was employed to conserve the records of Broadmoor Hospital.
