    Packing up the History Centre

    • 27th April 2012

We have had a busy week checking and labelling the books in local studies collection, as well as our microfilms and maps. The searchroom is starting to look very different as many of the shelves are empty and we are surrounded by labelled boxes! It feels like our move is really happening now!

Here are some photos from the last few days:

Sorting through material in the searchroom

    Clearing out the basement

Things are being packed away ready to move

It took a lot of effort to remove our old sign

We then replaced it with a new sign informing users of our closure

The removal men will arrive on Monday to start transporting everything to the Hive. We will be back in touch next week to let you know how things have gone.
