Welcome to the Worcestershire Archives On the Move blog

    • 4th June 2011

The Hive – our new home which will open in July 2012 Hello and welcome! For the first time Worcestershire Record Office are entering the world of blogging in order to keep in touch with all of our users whilst we move from our current locations to our new home, based at The Hive in the centre of Worcester. Our County Hall branch will be closing in November 2011 to allow us to move all of our original materials over, and our History Centre branch will close in April 2012. We will open our doors as a united service in July 2012 and can’t wait to see you all there. This little blog will document every step of the journey, and will be a great way for all of our users to see what goes on behind the scenes. It will also serve as a diary of our move that we can look back on in years to come. We want you to be able to get involved, so please feel welcome to leave us comments. The blog officially launches the first week of October, so check back soon to find out more about us and our move! If you have a formal enquiry you would like answered by staff, please see the Worcestershire Record Office website for contact details.
